We didn’t set out to build a website and digital marketing company. Back in 2013, Keelie picked up some writing assignments from a platform called Fiverr. She certainly didn’t expect those couple of writing gigs to turn into a full web development company. Today, Austin and Keelie run the company from their home and offer web design and development, hosting, search engine optimization (SEO), content writing, and other digital marketing services that provide small business solutions. We’re a small business ourselves, so we know exactly what it’s like to build a company from the ground up.

How R5 Website Management Started

Like we said, Keelie started taking on writing gigs, and that part of the business grew so fast that within two years, we had to bring on help. As a stay-at-home mom, Keelie started looking for other SAHMs who loved to write. That’s when things really began to take off because she had more help to take on bigger projects.

A lot of our clients came to us for writing but didn’t know how to put that content on their websites. That’s where the website management side of the business started to grow. Austin had always wanted to be a web developer but pursued another career path for 15 years. When our client base grew so significantly, it just made sense for him to focus on website development and lead our web dev team.

In 2017, we decided to name our venture and become an LLC. The R in our name stands for Reason, and the number 5 is the number of people in our family. We’re the proud parents of three outstanding men who are not only part of R5 in name but also work in the company. Our Dallas SEO company is as family-owned and operated as it comes.

We Live and Work in The Dallas, TX Area

Just like everyone who “lives in Dallas,” we are actually right outside of the city in Carrollton. We used to have our offices in Plano before the pandemic. Like many businesses, we decided to shut our office down and remain working from home. It has been a good move, especially as our children have become more involved in the business.

Meet Our Team

My mom tells me the first story I ever wrote was when I was 5, and I’ve been writing ever since. It’s always been a passion of mine, but it’s not something I thought I’d do as my job one day. Let’s be honest: I’m old enough that no one had computers in their homes, much less the Internet. As a kid, the idea of being able to self-publish was not even a reality. Obviously, as Google has become a major part of everyone’s life, the opportunities to write and share with the world around you are endless.

My clients said they liked my writing the most because it sounded like they wrote it. My goal has always been to create meaningful content to publish on our clients’ sites.

In 2015, I had too many clients to support on my own. I either had to let go of clients or find people to help me…and I opted to look for stay-at-home parents (just like me) to help me. What a hugely under-utilized workforce! Those mommas and daddies were so happy to have work they could do while being available to their kids.

Today, R5 Website Management offers much more than content, even though that’s the heartbeat of everything we do. We build, manage, and maintain websites for individuals and small businesses.

As a person who started and built a business from the ground up, I know first-hand the challenges you face. There are days when you are so overwhelmed you wonder why you ever thought it was a good idea to go into business for yourself. And then there are other days when you’re living the dream. When you work with our team, you can feel confident on your good and bad days; we will support you.
I’ve always enjoyed tech and gadgets. I’m happiest when I’m learning something new, or optimizing a system. This is what drives my passion for making our clients’ sites the absolute best they can be. I have the patience and hyper-focus it takes to really dig in and understand how a site should be structured.

As a fellow business owner, I understand your top priority for your website is that it produces for you. I put all my technical know-how into making it do just that. I’ll geek out on all the coding intricacies that make it tick. But in the end, it’s all about making your phone ring. I’d love to partner with you and hep you truly own your online presence!
Corbin has always loved working on websites. He took classes in school to help him on his tech journey and improve his skills. Since he graduated, he’s been working for R5 as a developer. His roles are to build sites, upload content, fix broken things on the sites, and more. Corbin is an asset to the dev side of R5.
Tripp has worked on the SEO side of R5 for a few years. He loves learning more about how the business runs and is deeply interested in our client’s projects. His understanding of our clients and their businesses help him to carry out his part in our SEO process.
Braden has a huge passion for graphic design and websites. He’s studying graphic design in school and hopes to use his skills in the business one day. For now, he focuses his time on SEO tasks for our clients. Also, he is part of the website team and uploads content, images, and other updates for our clients’ sites.
