How Our Website Build Services Work
We’ll start out by having a discovery meeting with you and listening to what you need your web design to be and do. Then, we’ll give an honest evaluation of the scope of the project and whether or not our team will be a good fit for you. Our goal is to provide you with high-quality web solutions that you will be happy with, but if, for some reason, we don’t think we can give you what you need, we’ll be honest about that.
Once we do the initial call, here’s what you can expect from our process and our web design and development services:
Proposal
Since we do custom new website builds as well as re-designs, maintenance, and ongoing management, we’ll provide you with a proposal for the work you need. In that proposal, we’ll discuss the scope of work, price, and payment expectations. We usually require half up-front for the quoted project, and the rest is split into two payments, with one being due 30 days after the project starts.
Hosting
In order for your business website to be displayed online, you will need to have it hosted somewhere. Think about hosting as a parking spot for your website. The domain is the name of the website, also known as the URL. If you already have hosting or a website URL, we can work with your existing accounts.
Writing
Homepage
As your web designers, we will design your homepage using the content we have written and find relevant images for your industry and business. We can also use any images, content, logos, or other information you share with us as part of the web design-build. Once it is completed, we’ll send it to you for approval. At this stage, you can share your feedback, and we’ll make the necessary tweaks to get it where you want it. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your new web design and our website development services.
Additional Pages
After you’ve approved your homepage, we’ll build the rest of the pages on your site with the same type of look to create consistency on your site. Our basic web design builds come with 4 pages which include the home page, about, services, and contact. We can add as many additional pages as you would like to with our website development services.

Launch
Once we’ve completed your website, we’ll put together an owner’s manual for you. This manual will include the information you need to log in to your site and what it takes to maintain the website. As part of your monthly hosting charges, we’ll run necessary updates on the site to keep it from being a security risk and ensure your page speed stays optimal. Despite popular belief, small business websites are usually the target of security breaches.
SEO Option
An optional service we provide is ongoing search engine optimization (SEO) services. We highly recommend that businesses who want to be found through online searches invest in this monthly digital marketing service. While we’ll set your site up the best we can for SEO from the start, it will not increase in rankings without monthly keyword research and new content.
